MC FolderSize [Updated]

It makes an excellent replacement for the Windows “Folder Size” column, because it uses standard Windows Explorer.
Also, it does not depend on whether or not Windows Explorer is already running, unlike FolderSize.
Furthermore, it is much faster, and can work from the mouse, unlike FolderSize.
MC FolderSize stores an enumerated list of items, and not a table, for fast searching.
It’s also much smaller than FolderSize.
Requirements:
MC FolderSize is 100% compatible with FolderSize, and requires Windows 2000/XP/Vista.
MC FolderSize is a free, open-source program.
You can download it, and use it for free.
I’m quite confident that your feedback will help me make MC FolderSize even better.
If you have any suggestions, or wish to report any bugs, you are welcome to do so.

File description

If you’ve been following the development on this project, you’ll already be aware that I have a series of articles aimed at explaining to people how to use the standard Windows Explorer without it becoming too complicated. It’s my basic “Show all File Types” tutorial.

Since I am guessing that a lot of people are going to have some trouble finding out how to sort things in all-pairs view, I have now prepared a guide to turning ‘Column View’ into ‘All-Pairs View’. All-pairs view is an alternative to ‘Details’ view, which is the default view in Windows Explorer.

Foldersize is a column that can be used in Windows Explorer to display the size of all the files and folders in view.

Note that Foldersize requires Windows Explorer to be running in order to work.

If you have any problems with the installation, then I can help.

What’s new in this release:

– Added an option to disable the popup menu to the FolderSize entry in the options dialog.
– Added a button to the MC FolderSize toolbar, to quickly resize the MC FolderSize column.
– Added an option to show

Zip drive support in VirtualBox can be enabled and disabled by using the vboxmanage command-line tool. This allows the zip drive to be shared in the same way as other shared devices (such as CD/DVD drives).
This could prove useful if you wish to use your computer in conjunction with a Zip drive that you are able to access, and for your or another user’s convenience.
The vboxmanage commands are the same as VirtualBox’s command-line interface (CLI). There are commands for most of the VirtualBox platform (VirtualBox server, VirtualBox machine, VirtualBox OSE, VirtualBox extensions) and these all work in the same way. You can access vboxmanage by typing it at the command line, using the “VirtualBox > Manager”.
A guide on using the VirtualBox CLI can be found here.
Instructions
Enabling zip drive support for VirtualBox:
vboxmanage shareddrives set [device_name] share_with=vboxmanage virtidevice state [on|off]
This will share the drive [device_name] with the vboxmanage utility. The device_name can be the name of the zip drive, or an ID of the drive on the computer.
To enable the shared drive, do the following:
vboxmanage shareddrives set shared_with vboxmanage virtidevice state on
vboxmanage shareddrives set shared_with vboxmanage virtidevice state off
To disable the shared drive, do the following:
vboxmanage shareddrives set shared_with vboxmanage virtidevice state off
vboxmanage shareddrives set shared_with vboxmanage virtidevice state off
Failing this command will list any shared devices
